Pastoria Press publishes the work of Terence Sullivan.
The name is borrowed twice over: Pastoria is the deposed rightful king of Oz, the true ruler nobody remembers, and it is the name of the house in which our first novel begins. Both meanings are the point.
Wonderland was only the beginning.
London, 1913. Alice Liddell is confined to Pastoria House, treated for visions her doctors call delusions. Then she meets Wendolyn Darling — locked away, like Alice, for dreaming — and the walls of her small, managed life begin to crack.
Alice flees the only way left to her: through a mirror, into Oz. There she is hunted by Princess Languidere, who collects the heads of beautiful women and inherits their dreams.
